The Profile of Sauvignon Blanc is higher in Marlborough than anywhere in the world. Marlborough produces Sauvignon Blanc that is pungently aromatic and explosively flavoured.

The secret to its astonishing varietal character is a compound called methoxypyrazine which is detectable in tiny quantities - fortunately Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is brim full of it.

The typical flavour spectrum ranges from sharp green grassy capsicum characters through to riper gooseberry and very ripe passionfruit or tropical flavours.

With careful vineyard management practices designed to limit cropping levels and optimise light penetration into the vine canopy, the winemaker can manipulate the flavours and structure of the wine.

A riper style Sauvignon. Fresh floral, passionfruit and ripe citrus with a touch of sweet herb. The palate really delivers, it’s full and succulent with excellent weight and plenty of juicy ripe fruit. There is sufficient acidity to give freshness without giving a sharp finish. A beautifully balanced wine.
